About

Micah Dancy is a Black American indie animation voice actress and artist. She began her acting journey in 2018, where she joined her first theatre troupe in high school and acted in her first musical, Pirates of Penzance. From then, Micah continued to pursue acting from high school all the way through college, growing her love for the medium and introducing herself slowly to character voice acting. She decided that voice acting was what she wished to pursue while rewatching Fruits Basket starring Laura Bailey as Tohru Honda in 2021, and has been doing it ever since.Currently, Micah has starred in several CAPSTONE projects at her old university, the University of New Mexico. Such roles include the Narrator in Quest For Something Sweet by Amanda Torres, Sally in Cops N Monsters by Julianna Aguirre, as well as an upcoming project as Nova in The Lunch Table by Sean Alvarez and Jonah McDonald.When not working, Micah is usually with her family at home, where she is the oldest of five siblings and six various pets. She is a long-time high fantasy and magepunk writer, dancer, reader, and budding digital artist of whom always has her mind in the clouds, searching for her inspiration. She also posts her creative content, such as art and voice acting fandubs on her TikTok and YouTube page.
